About Sonder Beacon

Helping founder-led food, drink & wellness brands grow with confidence.

Hi, I’m Letitia.

I help established product businesses make clearer decisions about their websites and digital growth, then turn those decisions into work that actually moves the business forward.

Think strategy, Shopify, SEO, content and conversion, connected around one question: what does the business need next?

Letitia Fealy, founder of Sonder Beacon

Why Sonder Beacon exists

Because good businesses can still get stuck trying to work out what digital needs from them next.

I have worked with enough small and growing businesses to see the same pattern repeat itself.

The founder knows the product. Customers love it. The business has momentum. But the website, SEO, content, customer journey and e-commerce side of the business start pulling in different directions.

Suddenly there are endless things that could be done, but very little clarity on what should happen first.

That is the gap I want Sonder Beacon to fill. Not another supplier adding jobs to your list, but a strategic outside perspective that can connect the dots, set priorities and help move the right work forward.

Most businesses do not need more marketing activities. They need a clearer strategy.

A little about me

My route here was not particularly linear. That is probably why I look at businesses the way I do.

My background spans events, marketing, communications and public service before I moved into website strategy, SEO and digital growth.

While working as Cultural and Communications Officer at the Irish Embassy in the UAE, I became increasingly involved in websites and search. During the pandemic, SEO work helped the Abu Dhabi embassy website rank prominently for travel-to-Ireland queries.

That experience showed me how much difference a well-structured, useful website can make when people are actively looking for answers.

I started my own business in 2023, originally as Lotus Optimisation, working with SMEs that needed practical help across SEO, websites, content and digital marketing.

As the work evolved, so did the focus. Sonder Beacon grew from the realisation that the biggest value was not in doing disconnected marketing tasks. It was in helping businesses work out what mattered most, then connecting strategy and implementation around it.

How I think about growth

A website should make the business easier to grow, not create another department for the founder to manage.

01

Strategy before tactics

SEO, content, redesigns and conversion work only make sense when they are connected to a commercial goal.

02

The customer journey comes first

Every page should help somebody move from finding you, to trusting you, understanding the product, buying and returning.

03

Clarity beats more activity

I would rather help you identify the five things that matter than hand you a list of 147 things you could technically improve.

Why “Sonder”?

Behind every product is a person who decided it deserved to exist.

Sonder is the realisation that every person you meet is living a life just as complex as your own.

That idea has always stuck with me because founder-led brands are never just products on a shelf. There is a reason somebody started. A problem they wanted to solve. A recipe they kept perfecting. A risk they took when it would have been easier not to.

Those stories matter. My role is helping more of the right people discover them, then making sure the website gives those people enough reason to stay, trust and buy.

Your Story. Discovered.

What working together looks like

Close enough to understand the business. External enough to see what you cannot when you are in it every day.

One connected view

Website strategy, SEO, content and e-commerce are not treated as separate boxes when the same customer is moving through all of them.

Clear priorities

The aim is to make decisions easier. What matters now, what can wait and what is likely to create the strongest commercial impact.

Plain English

You should understand what is being recommended, why it matters and how it connects back to the goals of the business.

Strategy that gets implemented

Advice is useful. Progress is better. Where appropriate, the work continues into hands-on implementation rather than ending with another document on your desk.

Where do we start?

You do not need to know exactly what service you need before getting in touch.

Tell me where the business is now, what you want the website or digital side to be doing better and what feels hardest to move forward. We can work out the right next step from there.
